From my ‘Live at the Fes Festival of World Sacred Music’, this is a brand new arrangement of a beautiful Kurdish song of love for the Prophet and longing to go to Medina. To the original Kurdish lyrics I’ve added lyrics in Arabic and Turkish. The captivating melody moves seamlessly from instrument to instrument to vocalists, each lending its own voice to its unfolding.
