RECRUITMENT: The Namibian Defence Force (NDF) plans to recruit 1 500 new members through the NDF Recruitment Planning Committee in March 2025. This was revealed by the Recruitment Officer in the Kavango East Region Lieutenant Colonel Dennis Kamwi who paid a courtesy call on the Governor of the region Bonny Wakudumo on Friday. 3000 cadets will be shortlisted while only 1500 will make the final cut.Application forms will be submitted starting from 01 November to 15 November 2024. Shots fired 💥 Our New Zealand Army soldiers during a recent exercise in the Waiouru Military Training Area. During this part of the exercise soldiers fire weapons from the Medium-Heavy Operational Vehicle at a target, using Night Vision Goggles (NVG). The use of NVG enables our soldiers to be combat-ready at all times, engaging with the enemy through the darkness of night.
