On a hot summer's day in 2019, we visited the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway to enjoy our first experience with 6023 King Edward II. Unique in preservation as a single chimney King Class, and having received a modified blast pipe for potential mainline running, 6023 certainly sounds different!
