This year, we hosted 5 in-person courses here in Bali! . For each course, we tackled a variety of bamboo builds 💪🏼 . We made yurts that we could disassemble and move around, built an expansive playground, developed water-catchment system prototypes for local communities, and set up modular post and beam systems that can be replicated across the globe 🌍 . Bamboo Brings People Together 💚 In our most recent build with participants from @hkuarchitecture, we used Augmented Reality technology to guide the construction of a Bale, made from bamboo splits. A Bale is a traditional Balinese pavilion for gathering and respite.
