Today's Friends of Allegany Video is of Gypsy 30. Half of the primitive cabins loops (Gypsy, Reed, Circle, Indian and Creekside opened for rental last weekend. These are wood-heated non-electric cabins available for $38.50 per night or $154 for the week. The park will deliver 1/4 cord of firewood to wood heated cabins for $25, but orders must be placed before 7PM the day of arrival. Happy camping everyone! | Friends of Allegany State Park

This week's Friends of Allegany State Park video is of Kaiser 12. Kaiser 12 is located off ASP Rte 3 on the Quaker side of the park. It is a propane-heated 3 season 2 bedroom cozy cabin with electric, refridg., propane stove, 6 cots total and separate kitchen. Though its once functional masonry fireplace added much to its ambiance, the fireplace was closed for the 2015 season.
