Rabbits and horses are really similar despite being opposite in size! They have the same digestive system so often, a lot of things that apply to horses also applies to rabbits! They both need ample forage because they are both hind gut fermenters (compared to animals like cattle and sheep which are ruminators) and digestive issues can quickly turn fatal if left untreated (colic, GI stasis) They are also both highly boopable! What is going on with these two baby horses? I walked over yesterday because I saw teeth and what seemed to be aggressive biting! But then I was comforted to know that these two horses were just grooming each other. This is how horses show affection for each other and relax. These two young ones have been growing up together since they were weaned earlier in the year, and they have grown inseparable.
