Fresh from recording "Bitches Brew" with Miles Davis, Joe Zawinul and Wayne Shorter got together with an ex Miles Davis bassist: Miroslav Vitous to create a revolutionary band that would turn upside down the world of jazz fans. In search of new sounds and rhythms, the 3 members explored and innovated to such extent that record shops were not sure where to classify them.
