After narrowly surviving a brutal dog attack in the land of her birth – the North West province of South Africa, where wild cheetahs still roam across farmland – she was rescued and rehabilitated by the De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Centre, before being translocated to Samara for a new chance at life.
