What a great turnout today for the Women’s Recruitment Symposium! The LASD Recruitment Unit put on a great event. Despite the rain, there was a large showing of eager citizens wanting to hear from the women in various units within our department. Many of the citizens were surprised at the multiple units we have within our department, as well as the sworn and non-sworn employment opportunities. They were able to submit questions for the panel prior to the event and hear their responses in person.
