Multiband sidechain rack in ableton Add compressor to whichever chain bands u want to duck individually and set amount. Useful for letting top end of snare to pop thru mix on big chords and leads and stuff.. And also working on the relationship between kick and sounds that have low frequencies in them 󾮗 prob a bit more advanced but I use this technique a lot especially when I feel like my drums aren't punching thru the mix. It doesn't fuck up the groove by sidechaining the whole sound! just a m
