Texans injury report: RB Woody Marks misses second straight practice
Here's a look at who was at practice on Thursday and who was out ahead of Week 16's matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Texans cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. (oblique) and running back Woody Marks (ankle) remained out of practice on Thursday.
It looks like the Houston Texans may be without key players on both sides of the ball when they host the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Depth is ultra-thin at defensive tackle after season-ending injuries sustained by Mario Edwards Jr, Tim Settle Jr., and Foley Fatukasi. The Texans are set with starters in Tommy Togiai and Rankins and have an experienced backup in Naquan Jones. The fourth defensive tackle Sunday is expected to be a practice squad elevation.
Marks (ankle) wasn't spotted at practice Thursday, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Texans running back Nick Chubb returned to practice on Wednesday. Chubb, who missed last Sunday’s game with an injury to his ribs, was limited. Running back Woody Marks, who injured his ankle in the victory over the Cardinals, was a non-participant to open the practice week.
With Marks not practicing as the Texans try to manage his injury that forced him out of the game Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, veteran Nick Chubb returned to practice on a full-go basis from a rib injury.
Woody Marks and the Houston Texans face the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 16, on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET. His stats from his previous game: 7 carries, 30 yards. Game Time: 4:25 p.m.
