Cyclone Fengal made landfall on the Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts on Saturday — causing severe flooding and heavy rainfall in several districts.

Parts of Tamil Nadu have been experiencing heavy rainfall due to the influence of Cyclone Felang, which made landfall on Saturday (November 30) and has since weakened while moving toward Kerala and Karnataka.

Seven members of a family, including five children, were feared trapped inside a house beneath a landslide, triggered by heavy rainfall from cyclone Fengal in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruvannamalai on Sunday, said officials.
