Stock index futures were higher on Friday, in a holiday shortened week, as Wall Street came off from the Thanksgiving break. S&P 500 futures (SPX) +0.3%, Nasdaq 100 futures (US100:IND) +0.5% and Dow futures (INDU) +0.

The major indexes fell before the Thanksgiving holiday due some tech turkeys, but came off lows. Nvidia stock fought back to hold key support.

Here’s what investors should know about trading hours on Turkey Day. The New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq Stock Market will be closed Thursday. The U.S. bond market and over-the-counter markets will also be closed.

Thursday: U.S. markets are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday. Friday: Markets close early in the U.S. The stock market closes at 1 p.m., while bond markets are slated to shut down an hour later. Black Friday marks the start of the holiday shopping season.
