Snow began falling on Colorado's eastern plains Thursday afternoon, leading to slick road conditions into Friday morning across the Denver metro area.
Latest snowfall totals from Wednesday and Thursday's winter storm
On Wednesday, snowfall totals of 1-2 inches verified for most of the eastern Triad area. Western communities got much less. Low pressure along the North Carolina coast was too far east to bring higher snowfall totals to western parts of our area.
