Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnerumma has contacted Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala after severely injuring him in the teams' Club World Cup match. PSG coach Luis Enrique made the announcement ahead of their semi-final against Real Madrid on Wednesday,

The Bayern forward suffered a horrible-looking injury in the final seconds of the first half, his lower left leg crunched under the sprawling frame of PSG goalkeeper Donnarumma as the pair of them, plus PSG’s Pacho, competed for a loose ball in the penalty area.

The Bavarians' goalkeeper Manuel Neuer added on to the criticism and held Donnarumma responsible for Musiala's injury. Donnarumma, for his part, has already spoken in the aftermath of the incident, expressing his regret and stating that he was "very shocked" about whatever happened.
