The look was shared by several Maryland players behind Clemsen. The Terps (4-1) lost nine of 10 bouts in an ugly 35-3 loss to No. 16 Pitt in their home opener. “We stunk today,” Clemsen said.

The last time Maryland (6-5, 0-2 Big Ten) gave up 100 points to three opponents in one season occurred during the 1992-93 campaign when No. 6 North Carolina, unranked Florida State and the No. 1 Tar Heels (again) scored 101, 105 and 102 points, respectively. The 1990-91 squad allowed five opponents to cross the century mark.
