Kade Anderson is going from the Tchefuncte River to Puget Sound. In a slightly surprising outcome, the Madisonville resident and LSU product was selected No. 3 overall by the Seattle Mariners in the Major League Baseball Draft on July 13. Many mock drafts had the 21-year-old left-hander going to the Washington Nationals with the first overall pick.
