Former Ohio State and Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord was one of the final preseason cuts made by the Philadelphia Eagles.

McCord was cut by the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday as the Pennsylvania native delievered a subpar preseason following his section by the Eagles with the 181st pick in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. In his final preseason contest against the Jets on Friday, McCord finished 15-of-35 for 136 yards and an interception.

Kyle McCord’s NFL journey hit its first speed bump Monday when the Philadelphia Eagles released the former Syracuse star, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported. McCord, a sixth-round pick in April’s draft,
