Kathy Bates has been in the acting business for over 50 years. She has won one Academy Award, two Golden Globe Awards, and two Primetime Emmy Awards.

The film — which Gordon produced and helped develop the story for alongside writer-director Sophie Brooks — follows a couple on their first romantic getaway, when upon arrival Lerman’s character Isaac says he’s not ready for a serious relationship and Gordon’s character Iris goes to great lengths to convince him otherwise.

Matlock fans are sure to be excited as CBS announced that the courtroom show with Kathleen Bates has been picked up for a second season, which will air in the 2025–26 season.
