The Jets added a number of linemen this offseason prior to Wednesday's acquisitions, nearly entirely revamping the unit. The haul included Byron Cowart, Jay Tufele, Derrick Nnadi and Phidarian Mathis. They also picked up undrafted free agents Payton Page and Fatorma Mulbah.

Trying to bolster one of their weakest positions, the New York Jets acquired defensive tackles Harrison Phillips and Jowon Briggs in separate trades Wednesday. The Jets traded two sixth-round picks (2026 and 2027) to the Minnesota Vikings for Phillips and a 2027 seventh-round pick,

The Jets are shoring up their defensive line depth. Gang Green acquired defensive tackle Jowon Briggs and a 2026 seventh-round pick from the Browns on Wednesday in exchange for a 2026 sixth-rounder. He’ll likely be in competition for one of the final roster spots behind likes of Jermaine Johnson, Quinnen Williams and Byron Cowart.
