The first lady invited military-connected families to join her on her final turn of decking the White House halls.

Joe Biden is on Nantucket, wrapping up his final Thanksgiving holiday as president. It's a family tradition that this year seems to be part of a broader farewell to his time in the White House.

Several volunteers spent the past week decorating the White House with 10,000 feet of ribbon, 28,000 ornaments, and 165,000 lights. Additionally, 83 Christmas trees are scattered throughout.
