India on Saturday accused Pakistan of violating a ceasefire agreement within hours of it taking effect, reporting gunfire and drone activity along the LoC. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said Indian forces were ordered to respond firmly and held Pakistan responsible for the renewed hostilities.

US President Donald Trump praised India and Pakistan's leaders for agreeing the ceasefire in fresh comments on Sunday morning, saying millions of people could have died without it. This comes after explosions were heard in Indian-administered Kashmir hours after the deal was announced,

The Indian Air Force said that it has successfully executed its assigned tasks in Operation Sindoor, adding that a detailed briefing will be conducted in due course as the operation war still ongoing.
