ClutchPoints’ Garrett Kerman thinks the Warriors could part with Kuminga and reunite Stephen Curry with his former 6-foot-9 teammate, who finished the 2024-25 season with the Heat. “To acquire Jonathan Kuminga, Miami must work within the NBA’s sign-and-trade rules for restricted free agents,” Kerman wrote Thursday.

Slater reported on Thursday night that the Sacramento Kings, Washington Wizards, Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat all have interest in the young player. Slater suggested the Kings' interest as more advanced, with the other five teams as varying levels of intrigued in engaging in a trade.

According to The Athletic's Anthony Slater, "the Washington Wizards entered the mix in the last 24 hours" as the team eyes Kuminga as apart of their rebuild. Slater also noted the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets as having "varying levels of interest."
