Google’s Gemini now supports split-screen multitasking on Android, allowing the AI to assist users directly inside other apps without switching screens.

In the split-screen view, the Gemini app for Android can reportedly turn on screen sharing to analyse content on the second app.

Gemini now works in split screen on regular phones, letting you interact with other apps side by side with no overlay needed.
