Sean "Diddy" Combs' sex trafficking trial began with the Cassie Tape being played, testimony from a male exotic dancer and opening statements.

Federal prosecutors issued an indictment against Sean Combs that accused the music mogul known as Diddy and Puff Daddy of running a criminal enterprise that included sex trafficking, forced labor and coercion and enticement to engage in prostitution.

As outlined in their opening statements this morning, what the defence says at this point is that Combs did in fact hit his girlfriends, as jurors went on to see in that hotel video - but the defence also says that's not what this trial is about, and that domestic abuse is not the same as sex trafficking.
