Cassie Ventura’s testimony returned to March 5, 2016, at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California. She narrated the video depicting Sean Combs throwing a vase full of flowers at her after she said she tried to escape a "freak off" that had turned violent.

The criminal case against Sean “Diddy” Combs was sparked after a startling 2023 civil lawsuit from his former girlfriend in which she alleged years of abuse and violence.
In a separate development, the federal judge presiding over the case pushed the final stage of jury selection to early next week.
