If you still haven’t made a trip to the DMV for your REAL ID, time is running out. Your domestic air travel could be delayed if you don’t have an accepted form of identification at TSA checkpoints next week.

“Come May 7, if you don’t have your Real ID or another acceptable form of ID, you should probably get there closer to three hours ahead,” said Mark Howell, TSA Regional Spokesperson. Howell says that nationwide, about 81% of people have a Real ID. CBS News data confirms that only about 36% of all IDs in Kentucky are Real ID compliant.
