Manchester United have finally agreed a deal to sign Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, a report has confirmed. Having failed with two bids—£55 million ($73.8 million) and then £62.5 million ($83.8 million)—progress on this deal appeared to grind to a halt before United submitted a third offer on Thursday which met Brentford’s asking price.

Manchester United have reportedly agreed to sign Cameroon winger Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford in a deal worth an initial £65 million ($87 million) as Ruben Amorim steps up his overhaul of the team's misfiring attack.

Ornstein has revealed that United have finally forged a deal with Brentford, agreeing to pay up to £71m for Mbeumo. United will pay a guaranteed sum of £65m in four instalments. Brentford could also receive a further £6m in potential add-ons.
