"F1" movie sequel in the works? Here's what has been said so far
With the success of the F1 movie, it is no surprise that a sequel is already being discussed. Director Joseph Kosinski, producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Apple CEO Tim Cook have all confirmed that talks about a sequel have already taken place.
Formula 1 will enter a new era in 2026 with the biggest technical regulation change in its history and will also welcome an 11th team on the grid in the form of American outfit Cadillac - the first all-new team to join the sport since Haas back in 2016.
F1 sources, speaking anonymously as they were not authorised to do so publicly, told The Athletic that Rwanda is the continent’s frontrunner to host a race in the future, though noted a date is yet to be set in stone, with 2030 also mentioned as a possibility.
