Season 5 of Emily in Paris was put on temporary halt after a crew member suddenly died during the series Venice shootings.

The filming of Season 5 of Emily in Paris was paused following the death of assistant director Diego Borella while on location in Venice.

Diego Borella, an assistant director on the Netflix show “Emily in Paris,” has died. The series was shooting in Venice at the Hotel Danieli when Borella, 47, reportedly collapsed in front of the crew.
