Daniel Farke has admitted that it will be a late call on whether Sam Byram is fit enough to travel with the Leeds United squad to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday. Leeds' full-back options were relatively short anyway, but a recent suspension picked up by Junior Firpo thinned Farke's choices in this area of the pitch even more.

Leeds will hope to welcome Ampadu back around the point at which the January window opens, with the midfielder initially pencilled in for a return in the New Year. Farke has admitted he is cautiously optimistic of a slightly earlier comeback, however.
