A driver is dead after he and a passenger were shot while sitting inside a car along Sherwood Forest early Sunday morning.

Byron Howard, 44, was in the driver's seat of a car at 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 6000 block of South Sherwood Forest Boulevard when he and a passenger were shot multiple times, police said.
