Warmer weather will be around in Indiana all throughout the week with some scattered rain chances. You're not supposed to see snow anytime soon.

STATEWIDE–Temperatures in Indiana are about to warm up. “Saturday, we’re looking at highs in the mid-30s. By Sunday, highs will be in the low 40s. Then as we get into the early part of next week, we could start exceeding 50 degrees in central Indiana,” said Aaron Updike, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.

Indiana State Police officials are encouraging people across the state to slow down on the roads. Interstates in the Indianapolis area have been slick and hazardous. Between 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, troopers responded to 119 crashes and cars sliding off roads.
