The drone deliveries will operate out of Amazon's fulfillment center in Richardson, the release states. The drones can deliver packages up to five pounds within a seven- to eight-mile radius of Amazon's facility located at 3051 Research Dr. in Richardson. Prime members can choose drone delivery for $4.99, the company said.
