Microsoft could be planning to add an AI element to the taskbar in Windows 11, based on clues in preview builds and theorizing from the rumor mill.

Windows 11 is great, but it's still missing some key features, including support for local account setup during installation and more control over updates.

There is a new Explorer Patcher update, an app that tweaks Windows 11's stock taskbar and other parts. In the latest release, developer implemented a new Windows 10 taskbar, ARM64 support, and more.

Microsoft has officially announced a bunch of interesting and much-needed updates for the taskbar. Some of them are documented in the release notes for the latest Beta build, while others are hidden.
