York Racecourse had a special royal visitor when Queen Camilla made an appearance on the second day of the annual Ebor Festival. Jockey Ryan Moore was among those who had a chance to meet her, after she presented him with the winning trophy for the Yorkshire Oaks event.

The Queen unveiled a plaque to commemorate the Ebor meeting's big race the Juddmonte International. However she was out of luck with her horses on the track this week

RACEGOERS dressed to impress for another spectacular Ladies Day at York Races. Day Two of the Ebor Festival was held yesterday (Thursday, August 21) with punters in high spirits as Queen Camilla gave her stamp of royal approval to the festival.
