Saints rookie quarterback Tyler Shough is beginning to reshape the narrative surrounding him after a strong start to his career.

Tyler Shough has turned some heads in his short time as the Saints starting quarterback. Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Bucs in Tampa is the high point of his NFL career so far. For a team looking forward to the NFL Draft, somebody didn't tell that to Shough and the Saints, who are fighting hard in every game and not packing in the season at all.

Saints QB Tyler Shough made some big plays with his legs against the Buccaneers, but it was one of his last throws which left a lasting impression.

While Tyler Shough is one of the NFL's oldest rookies, Kellen Moore believes that if Philip Rivers can play, so can the Saints QB.

Clearly, Moore, a former NFL quarterback himself, has no concerns about the future of Shough, regardless of his age. With the Saints projected to pick fairly high in the 2026 NFL Draft, it will be interesting to see how Shough finishes the season, and if they feel they need to make a change at the quarterback position.
