Toyota has announced that the full-sized Tundra pick-up truck will go on sale in Australia in November this year once it has received final approval from Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan for the re-engineering project

Toyota has finally confirmed when you’ll be able to purchase its US-built, locally remanufactured Tundra pickup in Australia. The 2025 Toyota Tundra will go on sale from mid-November 2024, the culmination of a project that’s been in the works since 2019.

The Tundra was this week given the tick of approval by Toyota head office as part of a world first project for Toyota that allows the car to effectively be rebuilt in Australia as part of a remanufacturing process.

Following a nine-month evaluation process where 300 vehicles were leased out to potential owners to use as they see fit and test the vehicles, TMCA now says the Tundra will be in Toyota dealers from mid-November.
