LSU was not able to score a run until the top of the sixth inning when Jared Jones hit a solo shot to tie the game 1-1. Neither team got the bats going as through six innings, LSU had four hits and Texas A&M had three. Anderson was racking up strikeouts as he had already hit double digits. He had 12 Ks after six innings.

Kade Anderson limited the Aggies to one run on three hits in 6.0 innings on Saturday with three walks and 12 strikeouts.
