North Korea accused South Korea of a “dangerous provocation” during a recent incident at the border of the two countries, adding to tensions as Pyongyang chafes at the annual joint US-South Korean military drills that are underway.

North Korea has test-fired two missiles newly designed to protect against aerial strikes, overseen by leader Kim Jong Un, state media announced Sunday.

The two missiles tested on Saturday were designed to target aerial threats, including attack drones and cruise missiles, the Korea Central News Agency reported on Sunday.
