The 2023 Scottish Open winner has had some struggles since winning the Masters in April, and hopes he can find his game before returning home for The Open. Robert MacIntyre won last year’s tournament and would love to head into the final major of the season on a high.

Robert MacIntyre won the 2024 Gensis Scottish Open. The Scottish native finished 18 under par, beating second place by 1 stroke. MacIntyre returns to defend his homeland championship. He is currently ranked 14 on the Official World Golf Rankings.

In 2024, MacIntyre became the first Scot to win the Scottish Open since Colin Montgomery in 1999. MacIntyre won with a score of 18-under, one stroke ahead of Adam Scott.

While still the Open tune-up it's long been, this week's Genesis Scottish Open will feature the toughest field of the year aside from the PGA Championship, U.S. Open and The Players.
