Max Verstappen has impressed behind the wheel despite Red Bull's struggles and one former F1 driver thinks he is making his teammates look worse than they actually are.

According to Indystar, Red Bull are now targeting Palou to partner with Max Verstappen next season. After Liam Lawson lasted just two races alongside the Dutchman this year, Yuki Tsunoda came in as his replacement but has managed just three top-10 finishes.

Verstappen had a similarly quick rise in Formula 1, entering the top flight of motorsport as a teenager — joining Toro Rosso at 17 years old. He impressed during his rookie season and eventually made his way to the senior Red Bull team. The teenager was at a top-flight team at such a young age and was thriving.
