In a rare moment of public disagreement with members of her own party, Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi called out Senate Democrats on Friday for supporting Republicans’ government funding extension. The Senate was expected to vote Friday on a seven-month funding extension to keep the government open.

The legislation would apparently shield the D.C. government from a billion-dollar cut, but it would still need to be approved by the House.

After meeting with his conference, the Senate minority leader said "Republicans do not have the votes" to advance the House-approved measure, which requires 60 to pass.
