Officials in a western Twin Cities suburb are investigating a fatal fire overnight. According to St. Louis Park city officials, police and fire crews were dispatched at around 11:53 p.m. Tuesday to a house fire on the 7400 block of North Street.

A fire destroyed a house in St. Louis Park early Wednesday morning. While officials have not confirmed any injuries or deaths, a medical examiner was present at the scene. FOX 9's Bill Keller has more on the story.

A man was found dead following a house fire in St. Louis Park on Tuesday evening. Police and fire responders were called to the home on the 7400 block of North Street just before midnight, and found the man's body inside the property.

The cause of a St. Louis Park house fire, which prompted the Hennepin County Medical Examiner to respond, is being investigated. The fire broke out around 12:30 a.m. on North Street off Taft Avenue. Smoke and flames were seen rising from inside the house.

Crews were called to a home on the 7400 block of North Street at 11:53 p.m. Once inside the home, first responders found a man’s body. Fire crews from Hopkins also responded.
