$1 million Powerball ticket tops Connecticut Lottery prizes for October - here's the full list
A Simsbury man claimed a $1 million Powerball ticket, the largest prize claimed in Connecticut this month, as overall high-roller lottery wins declined in October.
The Powerball jackpot has reached $438 million; a ticket from Indiana won $50,000 by matching four numbers and the Powerball. The next draw is on November 5.
The winning ticket has yet to be claimed. The winning numbers for the Oct. 25 drawing were 2, 12, 22, 39, 67 and the Powerball number was 15. The power play multiplier was 2. The ticket was sold at Casey's General Store in Sherburn, Minnesota. The business will earn a $5,000 bonus.
Hoosier Lottery Powerball tickets should be checked carefully as one entry matched four out of five numbers and the Powerball in Saturday’s drawing.
