The Pittsburgh Steelers have released linebacker Kana’i Mauga from their practice squad to make room for long snapper Cal Adomitis. Mauga had been with the team for the last three weeks and acted as a fullback and linebacker throughout his time with the team.

Moon’s addition to the Steelers’ 53-man active roster cost defensive tackle Brodric Martin-Rhodes his place with Pittsburgh. The Steelers waived the former Northridge High School and North Alabama standout to add Moon. Moon also is a former Alabama prep standout at Hoover High School.
