A murder suspect was fatally shot by Dallas police during an armed confrontation during a traffic stop near a Mesquite shopping mall.

A shelter-in-place order in Welland Ont. was lifted Saturday morning after police arrested the male suspect at the centre of an officer-involved shooting that injured a female officer a day earlier.

Shortly before 11 a.m. on Dec. 17, there were reports of a shooting at a business in the 31000-block of King Road.
