While we're still a ways away from knowing the participants, the White Sox on Wednesday announced the full 2026 spring training schedule. Cactus League action begins Feb. 20 at Chicago Cubs' home field in Mesa, Ariz., and concludes on March 23 against the Athletics in Mesa.

The Chicago White Sox have hired Zach Bove to be their next pitching coach, the team announced on Tuesday. The 37-year-old Bove takes over for Ethan Katz, whose contract wasn't renewed after a five-year run with the organization.

On the flip side, the White Sox and veteran left-hander Martín Pérez are parting ways after both sides declined his $10 million mutual option for next season. Pérez will collect a $1.5 million buyout on his way to free agency.
On Monday, the White Sox announced the hiring of Royals assistant pitching coach Zach Bove as their new pitching coach. Bove, 37, held his role in Kansas City for the last three seasons and will try to bring his pedigree of improvement to the 60-102 White Sox.
There probably aren’t too many Major League Baseball pitching coaches who include two stints as a hitting coach on their résumé. But that seemingly unique quality belongs to Zach Bove, who was named the new White Sox pitching coach on Tuesday.
