One fan asked about what inspired “28,” to which he replied he and Brianna’s yellow lab, Boston, inspired the track. He shared that he and Brianna had a scary moment sending their new puppy into emergency surgery, unsure of the outcome. While everything worked out in their favor, it made Zach reflect on how blessed he is to have the life he does.

Zach Bryan, who is currently on "The Quittin' TIme Tour," got upset on Saturday when a fan threw a nondescript object on stage, hitting Bryan's bandmate.

While Bryan was playing Wednesday night (Thanksgiving Eve if you will) in Portland, Oregon at the Moda Center, an unruly fan tossed a Zyn can onto the stage and hit the country singer in the leg. Zach brought his performance of “Tourniquet” to a halt and immediately asked the crowd who was responsible:

“Alright, who threw it,” Zach Bryan asked while holding the Zyn can. In that moment he looked and sounded like an angry teacher who just took a paper airplane to the back of the head while writing a lesson on the blackboard. “Let’s not be d—ks, huh? Throw stuff at concerts?” he added, motioning with the can.
