Drew McIntyre has been in and around WWE’s upper midcard and main event scene ever since his main roster return in 2019, and in that time he has won three world titles, main evented WrestleMania, and feuded with many of WWE’s top stars.

WWE has revealed a big championship rematch has been booked, and there will be a stipulation to be determined. The top professional wrestling company posted a segment on social media that saw "SmackDown" general manager Nick Aldis make a proposal to the "suspended" Drew McIntyre.
